Dozens of people had to get some unexpected car repairs after they filled up their tanks with diesel fuel.
Every motorist had one thing in common. They filled up at the GetGo on West Patrick Street in Frederick, Md.
A Pennsylvania fuel delivery supplier inadvertently dispensed diesel fuel in the station's unleaded gasoline tank, according to the Maryland Comptroller's Office.
Station employees said they found out about the problem after about 20 customers called and said their cars were not running right.
GetGo's parent company, Giant Eagle, said it is working with individual customers to pay them back for repairs on their cars.
The station cleaned out and refilled the tank that had the problem fuel.
