Prince George's County Police said a motorcyclist was killed when he swerved to avoid a stopped car in Lanham.
It happened about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on Annapolis Road. Police said 46-year-old Francis Allan Hall of Laurel was driving west when he swerved to avoid a car stopped at a red light. Officers said the motorcycle struck a curb and hit the stopped car.
Hall died at a local hospital. The accident is under investigation.
