Mother Killed in Hit-and-Run in Prince George’s County

A woman new to the area died in a hit-and-run early Sunday morning in Prince George’s County, Md.

Sandy Beltran, 23, moved to Maryland from Los Angeles about a month ago. She had a 4-year-old daughter.

Medical personnel pronounced Beltran dead at the scene in the northbound lanes of Route 3 just south of Annapolis Road (Route 450).

State police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or seen suspicious activity in the area. Anyone with information should call 800-492-TIPS (8477) or 301-345-3101.
