Mother, Daughter Charged With Attempted Carjacking in Virginia

Woman allegedly jumped into car at 7-Eleven

A mother and daughter from Woodbridge, Va., were arrested and charged with attempted carjacking.

Mary Miller jumped into a parked car outside the 7-Eleven at 13304 Occoquan Road in Woodbridge Friday about 11:14 p.m., police said. Miller assaulted a woman who was waiting in the passenger seat and tried to steal the vehicle, but the victim pulled the keys out of the ignition, investigators said.

Miller ran from the scene and met her daughter, April, police said.

The victim called police.

Both women were arrested nearby on G Street.
