Mosque Offers Free Dinners During Ramadan

The Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Va., is offering free dinners to families in need during the Holy month of Ramadan.

The meals are open to people of all faiths. The mosque is located at 3159 Row Street in Falls Church.
 
During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset. It began August 1 and ends at the end of the month.
 
Dar Al-Hijrah, one of the largest mosques in the Washington area, regularly hosts community dinners during Ramadan that feed more than 800 people.
 
This year, the mosque decided to open the dinners to people of all faiths.
         
The meal will be served in the dining hall. People must dress modestly.
