The swine flu scare led to a long wait for passengers on a Cancun-to-BWI flight after two passengers reported feeling sick.

You may want to book your next flight from BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. It had the best on-time flight record in the country for the month of December.

The Department of Transportation reports BWI posted an on-time record of 90.88 percent.  The airport also serviced more passengers in 2011, 22,391,785 overall, than in any previous year.

For the month of December, Washington Reagan National airport came in 12th nationally for most on-time flights, while Dulles International was ranked 14th.

Airlines had their best on-time arrivals in December in 17 years.  The mild winter weather helped keep flights on-time.
