Montgomery County, Maryland, police are searching for a woman who they said used stolen credit cards to purchase about $12,000 of merchandise.
Investigators said a woman called police after her bank notified her that her credit cards had been used fraudulently. The woman told police she discovered her wallet, which contained her credit cards, had been stolen while she was at a Bethesda restaurant earlier that evening.
Detectives released photos of a woman who was seen using the stolen credit cards at the Westfield Montgomery Mall and at a Target store in Rockville. Police are asking anyone who might recognize the woman to call them with the information.
