Mobile Military Job Fair Thursday

A new job service, Hero 2 Hired, is launching Thursday for members of the military who are looking for jobs.

The mobile store will help servicemembers search for work. It will be parked Thursday at the D.C. Armory (2001 E. Capitol St. SE) from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

"We know that searching for a new job is a big undertaking," its website says. "H2H was created to make it easy for Reserve Component service members to connect to and find jobs with military-friendly companies who are looking for employees with your training and skills."

The service is free.
