Mobile Home Fire Displaces Family, Injures Firefighter

A North Laurel, Md. mobile home was deemed uninhabitable after a fire Friday, displacing six of its residents, including two infants.

According to Howard County officials, crews responded to the mobile home along Ruth Avenue Friday afternoon. The home suffered extensive damage and was deemed uninhabitable.

Two adults, two teenagers and two infants were displaced.

A firefighter was transported to a local burn center for evaluation after sustaining minor burns.
