A missing 63-year-old man was found alive in Prince George’s County Tuesday afternoon.
People found the man in a wooded area near Baysox Stadium in Bowie, Md., more than 24 hours after he went missing, according to authorities. They called 911.
The man was reported to be conscious when he was discovered. He is suffering from exposure and dehydration, according to Mark Brady from Prince George’s County Fire and EMS.
Initial reports that the man had been pinned beneath a tree turned out to be unfounded, Brady said. Rescue workers believe instead that he had been using a downed tree for shelter, the Associated Press reported.
