Missing 16-Year-Old Virginia Girl Found in Arkansas

A 16-year-old Virginia girl who ran away with a man she met online was found safe in Arkansas, and the man is in custody, police announced Friday.

Aysia Monique Lewis was found in Little Rock, Arkansas just after midnight Friday, WSLS 10 in Roanoke reported. She was last seen Monday afternoon at her Christiansburg school.

Police have taken 33-year-old Donald "Bruce" Quesenberry Jr. into custody. Authorities say Quesenberry drove from Illinois to meet the teen.

Charges against Quesenberry are pending, according to WSLS 10.

Due to Lewis' age and the details surrounding her disappearance, police had classified her as an endangered missing person. Authorities believed she was in danger of sexual exploitation.
