A military device was discovered at a construction site in southeast D.C. Wednesday morning, police confirmed.
The device was discovered in the 1200 block of Fourth Street. That block and the 400 block of Tingey Street are closed to vehicles and pedestrians.
A military explosive ordnance team was called to the scene.
