Two Metrobuses and a Cadillac were involved in a serious crash at Missouri and New Hampshire in the Northwest section of the city Saturday night.
About 8:45 p.m., a gray Cadillac sedan believed to be fleeing police struck a northbound #64 Metrobus in the 5200 block of New Hampshire, News4's Jackie Bensen reports. The impact caused the Cadillac to spin around, and it then struck a southbound #64 bus head-on.
Eight passengers from the southbound bus and two from the northbound bus were taken to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Cadillac taken to hospital with a broken leg and other injuries.
DC police officers from a tactical unit appeared to be searing through the Cadillac before it was towed away, Bensen reported, though it's unclear what they were looking for.
