A Metrobus may have committed a hit-and-run in a minor accident.
Metro is investigating a report that an out-of-service bus rear-ended a vehicle and left the scene.
The incident took place at about 1:20 p.m. at the intersection of Glebe Road and Fairfax Drive in Balston. The bus was making its way to the west Ox bus garage at the time.
Metro is speaking with the bus driver.
The vehicle sustained minor damage -- a dented rear bumper.
No injuries were reported.
