You might not have to carry around rolls of quarters to pay for parking at Metro Stations soon.
Twenty-two parking lots may give riders the ease of paying with a credit card. The Metro Board of directors will vote on the proposal next week. If it passes, look for this option to be available early next year.
The credit card idea has already had a good test run at seven lots. The plan is for each parking facility to have at least one exit lane where you can pay by plastic.

- Prince George’s Plaza
- College Park-University of Maryland
- Greenbelt
- Morgan Boulevard
- Additon Road-Seat Pleasant
- Van Dorn Street
- Dunn Loring
- West Falls Church-VT/UVA
- East Falls Church
- Cheverly
- Landover
- Rockville
- White Flint
- Twinbrook
