Eleven people suffered minor injuries in a Metrobus accident Friday morning.
The Metrobus was going around a car in the 400 block of Eighth Street SE about 9:30 a.m. when the car apparently cut off the bus, Metro spokesman Dan Stessel said.
The bus driver slammed on the brakes to avoid hitting the car. The hurt passengers were described as having neck and back injuries.
D.C. Fire and EMS reponded. The injured were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening and non-visible injuries.
