Storm4 Chief Meteorologist Doug Kammerer was honored by the LUNGevity Foundation Friday night at the organization's 2nd annual Musical Celebration of Hope Gala Friday night at Mellon Auditorium.
Kammerer was one of three recipients of the inaugural Raising Hope Award, along with WJLA reporter and anchor Greta Kreuz and WUSA morning news anchor Andrea Roane. The award honors leaders in providing visibility to the fight against lung cancer.
Kammerer is a regular supporter of the LUNGevity Foundation.
