According to Montgomery County Police, crews responded to a bank robbery June 10 just after noon at TD Bank in the 19500 block of Frederick Road in Germantown. They say while one man handed a teller a note that demanded money and implied the other man had a gun, another man met with a bank greeter. The men left together with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Nine days later, police were dispatched to the Suntrust Bank inside of a Safeway on New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring. In this case, one man stood nearby while the other passed a note demanding money, and implying the other man had a gun. In this case, the two men again fled together with an undisclosed amount of money.
