Men Armed With Guns, Stun Gun Wanted in D.C. Robberies

Police are on the lookout for three men armed with guns and a stun gun, who they say went on a robbery spree in downtown D.C.

According to D.C. Police, the men are said to be involved in three robberies just this week.

In the first incident Sept. 23, two men walking in the 1200 block of N Street NW around 2 p.m. were approached by three men -- one carrying a stun gun and two carrying guns. The men separated and ran, but the suspects caught up to them, punching and beating one of the men and getting away with $300 cash, the man's wallet and his cell phone.

Two hours later, another robbery was reported in an alley along 10th Street NW, just a few blocks from the earlier one. The victim told police three men attacked him, pushed him into an alley and beat him, then ran away with his wallet.

The next morning, a car pulled up to a man walking in the 900 block of N Street NW. One man came out of the car, pulled out a stun gun and used it on the pedestrian, then went on to beat him once he fell to the ground. Police say the attacker's accomplices got out of the car and tried to make him stop hitting the victim. The men got away with the victim's backpack, cell phone and wallet.

"We have a lot of dangerous people in this area, you have to be careful," one neighbor told News4.
