On Monday, Family and friends will say a final good-bye to a Tuskegee Airman who died in Virginia.

Dempsey Morgan died Thursday at the Virginia Veterans Care Center in Roanoke. He was 93 years old.

His funeral will be held at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home in Roanoke, but according to an obituary, there will be no public viewing. Condolences may be sent to the family here.

Morgan was born in 1920 in Detroit.  He leaves behind his wife, three daughters and several grandchildren.

The Tuskegee Airmen were the 332nd fighter group, America's first black military fliers during World War II.
