Memorial Set for College Student Killed in Carribean Accident

The family of Casey Schulman announce memorial plans at the Kennedy Center.

    Memorial plans are being made for a Virginia college student killed in the Caribbean.
    Casey Schulman, 22, was snorkeling off the island of Dominica last Saturday when she was hit by the boat's propeller.

    Schulman was a senior at the University of Virginia. She was traveling with a Semester at Sea program – but on the snorkeling excursion separate from the group.

    Schulman was a 2009 graduate of Stuart High school in Falls Church.

    Her family scheduled a memorial for Saturday at 11:00 a.m at the Kennedy Center. The ceremony will be open to the public.
