Husband Will Be Charged With Running Over Wife: PD

The husband of a woman whose body was found in a strip mall parking lot will be charged in connection with her death for purposefully and repeatedly running her over with a car, the Charles County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

Jennifer Lynn Weyhenmeyer, 36, and her husband were seen arguing Sunday evening, shortly before Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to a call around 7:45 p.m. for the report of an unconscious woman.

Authorities found Weyhenmeyer's body behind a Pizza Hut at 3220 Crain Highway in Waldorf, Richardson said.

Police found Weyhenmeyer's husband at the couple's Waldorf home shortly after. He was taken to a hospital for a medical evaluation, but Charles County police spokesperson Diane Richardson declined to say why.

Investigators recovered a Ford Edge at the home. Richardson said the couple's car had evidence that matched evidence from the scene.

Weyhenmeyer's husband's name has not been released. Authorities say he will be charged once he is released from the hospital.
