Rams Head Owner “Devastated” With Peeping Tom Charges

A restaurant owner charged with secretly videotaping women in the bathroom said he is "embarrassed and humiliated."

Kyle Muehlhauser, owner of Rams Head Tavern in Savage, Maryland, has been charged with six counts of "peeping Tom" violations and six counts of visual surveillance with prurient intent.

Muehlhauser, 37, of Severna Park, released a statement on Thursday saying he has assumed an administrator role at the restaurant and is "devastated" by the charges.

Howard County police said their investigation began in May after a woman said she was in the restroom at the Rams Head Tavern in Savage when a digital video camera fell onto the floor. Detectives said footage on the camera showed a man placing the camera in the bathroom, and showed six different women who were secretly recorded.

Police said DNA on the camera matched with Muehlhauser in lab tests.
