Md. Restaurant Owner Charged With Taping Women in Bathroom

The owner of a Maryland bar and restaurant has been charged with secretly videotaping women in the bathroom.

Howard County police say their investigation began in May after a woman said she was in the restroom at the Rams Head Tavern in Savage when a digital video camera fell onto the floor. Detectives say footage on the camera showed a man placing the camera in the bathroom, and showed six different women who were secretly recorded.

Police say they later identified the restaurant owner as the man in the video after lab results indicated DNA on the camera matched his. Police arrested 37-year-old Kyle Muehlhauser of Severna Park on six counts of visual surveillance with prurient intent.

No attorney is listed for Muehlhauser in online court records.
