Forty-seven-year-old Michael Glover of Fort Washington, Md., pleaded guilty to negligent homicide in the death of 71-year-old Duffie Claridy.

According to the government's evidence, Glover was driving a Mercedes Benz early on Nov. 8, 2010. He was traveling on South Capitol Street when he struck Claridy, who was walking in the road. Claridy was pronounced dead at the scene.
