A Rockville man pleaded guilty to enticing underage girls to send him sexually explicit photos of themselves and threatening to post them online when they wanted to stop.
Marc Joseph Punzalan, 20, entered the plea Friday in federal court in Baltimore. If the judge accepts the plea deal, Punzalan will get a term of 15 years in prison at sentencing July 1.
According to his plea agreement, Punzalan contacted four girls between the ages of 12 and 16 via social media and in chat rooms.
Punzalan convinced the girls to send explicit photos, prosecutors said. When the girls said they didn't want to keep sending such photos, Punzalan threatened to post the photos online or send them to the girls' families and friends.
