Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley will be appearing on Sunday's edition of "Meet the Press'' with Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell.
O'Malley heads the Democratic Governors Association while McDonnell chairs the Republican Governors Association.
The two have worked to keep a positive working relationship on local issues for the two neighboring states. McDonnell even attended O'Malley's second inaugural address last year.
However, they vigorously debate national political issues.
