Montgomery County officials are taking precautions to ensure their hospitals are prepared in case a major catastrophe hits the area.
Thursday is Mass Casualty Drill Day, and county leaders plan to test the response at Maryland hospitals.
Officials want you to know the drill will not impact normal operations at the hospitals.
The exercise will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.
You may see a few helicopters overhead. They’re part of the exercise.
