A man shot while sitting in a car in Largo earlier this month died Friday, according to Prince George’s County police.
Joshua Mahoney Barnes, 21, of northwest Washington, was shot about 12:45 a.m. June 2 in the 10100 block of Campus Way South in Largo. He and an acquaintance were sitting in a car when several shots were fired into the car, police said.
Detectives are working to establish a suspect or suspects and a motive in the slaying.
