Laurel Marine Arrested For Soliciting Sex From Minor

Police: Rashon Dickason may have solicited other minors

A United States Marine is awaiting extradition to Prince George's County to face a charge of sexual solicitation of a minor.

22-year-old Rashon Levonte Dickason, formerly of Laurel, is currently in custody at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, where he was stationed at the time of his arrest. Dickason was taken into custody by U.S. Marine Corps Military Police on January 30.

Investigators say that an initial report was made against Dickason December 26, when they were called to the 8700 block of Oxwell Lane in Laurel. When they arrived, a man told them that Dickason had solicited the man's teenage son for sexual acts between July and December of 2012.

Authorities say that Dickason admitted to soliciting the minor during an interview with Prince George's County police detectives. Investigators also believe that Dickason may have solicited other minors as well.
