Man With Swastika Tattoo Removed From DC Pool

Officials say a man with swastikas, upside-down crosses and "666'' drawn on his body was escorted out of a Washington, D.C., pool after patrons raised concerns to lifeguards and the confrontation escalated.

The Washington Post reports the man with tattoos was not arrested as the Protective Services Division responded when police were called. Washington's Parks and Recreation department said in a statement the man was asked to leave the Rumsey Aquatic Center Sunday afternoon for "offensive language and inappropriate behavior.''

The statement says the man was sitting on the deck charging his electronic device when several guests felt uneasy that he was there but not using the pool. The department says the man became angry when confronted by lifeguards but there was no physical contact between him, guests or staff.
