Man Suspected of Killing His Uncle, Injuring His Aunt Arrested in Baltimore

A 20-year-old man who police say killed his uncle and injured his aunt in a double shooting in Lanham, Maryland, early Sunday was arrested in Baltimore Tuesday morning.

A man drove himself to MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital in a golf cart about 2:50 a.m. but refused to identify himself, Prince George's County police said.

Baltimore police assisted, and an officer determined the man was Osman Kalokoh, who is wanted in Prince George's County on charges including first-degree murder and attempted murder.

The double shooting happened about 3 a.m. Sunday in the 9000 block of Alcona Street, police said. When officers went in the house, they found 69-year-old Alee Calokoh and his wife suffering from gunshot wounds.

Calokoh was pronounced dead at the scene. His wife was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police said their initial investigation suggests Kalokoh and his uncle got into an argument before the violence.

Police said the suspect was at the house earlier, but friends of the family said his uncle had banned him from being inside the house.

Kalokoh is in custody in Baltimore.

Anyone with information about the case should call 1-866-411-TIPS.
