A worker suffered serious burns to his face and arms after a home under construction caught fire Tuesday morning.
More than 75 firefighters were called to the home in the 8500 block of Howell Road in Bethesda at about 9 a.m. The fire started in the basement of the home.
The victim's injuries are not life-threatening.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but Pete Piringer, a spokesman for the Montgomery County Fire Department, says it is probably related to the construction that was underway.
