A woman who was found with serious burns on a Northeast Washington sidewalk Tuesday morning was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.
Now authorities are trying to figure out how she was burned. Police have not said what they believe happened, but said the burns appear to be accidental.
A man delivering newspapers early Tuesday morning found the woman on the sidewalk in the 1200 block of Holbrook Street NE.
The woman suffered burns to her face and upper body.
