A man was critically injured after he was struck by a vehicle along Suitland Parkway, U.S. Park Police say.
The victim was crossing Suitland Parkway from Naylor Road just after 1 a.m. Wednesday when he was struck.
Police say the striking vehicle remained at the scene.
The victim was transported to the hospital with critical injuries.
Suitland Parkway was closed for several hours, but it has since reopened.
