A man was stabbed after being escorted out of George Washington University Hospital Monday morning, D.C. police said.

As an unruly man resisted being removed from the hospital, he grabbed a few people, police said. When he grabbed a man outside the hospital near the Foggy Bottom Metro Station, the man pulled out a knife, cut the unruly man and fled.

The unruly man was taken back into the hospital for treatment.

Police are looking for the man with the knife.
