Police need the public's help identifying a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery Wednesday, which could be connected to several other D.C. metro robberies.

According to officials, the man robbed the SunTrust Bank in the 12400 block of Fairwood Parkway just after 2 p.m.

The man passed a note to a teller demanding cash and when he complied, the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.

F.B.I. officials told News4 they're investigating the possibility that Wednesday's robbery may be connected with a June 7 robbery in Fairfax County, Va. and a pair of attempted robberies June 10 in Arlington, Va.

If you have any information, contact police at 301-772-4905.
