A man was shot at Quantico Marine Corps Base Sunday evening, InsideNoVA.com reported.
The victim was shot in the leg and is expected to be fine. The suspected gunman is in federal custody. Neither is a Marine.
"The victim was taken to Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, where he received stitches for his wound," said Boyce.
It's unknown why the men were on the base, what led to the shooting or whether charges will be fired.
