A man is in critical condition after being shot by police during an incident at a Parkville, Md., home.
Officers were called to a home on Manns Avenue late Saturday night for a woman saying her husband had a gun and was suicidal, WBAL-TV reported.
Police said they tried to communicate with the man when he exited the house armed with a handgun, but he refused to follow officers' commands to drop the weapon.
The man and officers fired their guns, police said. The suspect was struck, but no officers were injured.
