Police have made an arrested in the shooting of a man in Northeast D.C.
Lewis Reid, 23, was taken into custody Friday morning, just hours after he allegedly shot a man multiple times in the 700 block of 24th Street.
Police say they found the victim just after 1 a.m. suffering from gunshot wounds to the abdomen and arm. He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
Reid has been charged with assault with intent to kill while armed.
