A man was killed after he was shot behind a recreation center in Northwest Washington, D.C., Monday night, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Donald Stephen Johnson Jr., 45, was found with gunshot wounds to the body shortly after 7 p.m. on Aug. 8. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
Police were called to the 5700 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest, and discovered Johnson. They have not released any information about any gunmen.
