Prince George's County Police are searching for two men who broke into a Lanham, Md., home and shot a male occupant early Friday morning.
The men broke into a home in the 6900 block of 100th Avenue just after midnight, authorities said. After some sort of confrontation with the man and woman inside, the male resident was shot in the torso.
The victim was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
Police said the two men were seen fleeing the area on foot.
Investigators have not said whether anything was taken from the home.
