Man Shot At Vigil For Teen Murder Victim

A man was shot Friday night while attending a vigil for a teenager who was found murdered in Prince George's County earlier this week.

Due to the size of the vigil, police were already on the scene in New Carrollton when the shots were fired.  A man was hit, and suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Around 200 people had gathered to remember 16-year-old Chris Smith. Smith was found shot and killed on Tuesday.

Police are interviewing witnesses to help figure out a motive, and track down a suspect.
