D.C. police say a man was seriously injured following a shooting in the Shaw neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
Crews responded to the 1700 block of 7th Street NW just after 2 p.m. were they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital and is listed in serious condition.
According to D.C. police, the suspect was wearing dark clothing and a mask at the time. He was last seen running int he 1600 block of Marion Street NW.
No motive information has been released.
