A man was robbed and shot Wednesday night just a few blocks near the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City.
Arlington Police say someone approached the victim at S. Arlington Ridge Road and S. Lang Street shortly before 8:45 p.m., displaying a gun and demanding money. The victim complied, but was shot in the leg.
The shooter ran off with an unknown amount of money.
The man wounded in that shooting is recovering in at a local hospital.
Police searched the area using a helicopter and K-9 units, but there’s no report of anyone in custody so far. The investigation will continue.
