UPDATE: The man who was in the car that went into the water has died.
A man was rescued from his car after it went into the water at an Arlington County marina Friday morning, fire officials say.
A water rescue team with the Arlington County Fire Department was called to the Columbia Island Marina, near the George Washington Parkway.
One man was rescued from the vehicle. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Crews searched for additional victims, but no one was found. Video from the scene showed crews pulling the car from the water.
It's not clear how the vehicle got into the water. No additional information has been released.
