A man firefighters removed from a house on fire in Pomfret, Maryland, was flown to a burn unit Monday evening.
Charles County Fire was dispatched to the fire in the 7900 block of Oakwood Lane just before 8 p.m.
Firefighters found an oxygen-dependent 60-year-old man in a bedroom fully involved in fire. They performed CPR on the man before he was transported.
A 63-year-old woman was taken by ground to a hospital for smoke inhalation.
The fire is under control.
