Man Killed in Early Morning Crash in Fairfax

Police in Fairfax County have released the name of the man killed in an early morning crash.

Fair Oaks police say 27-year-old George Tabash died after the pick-up he was driving collided with a tractor-trailer on Sully Road on the I-66 overpass just before 2 a.m. Police say Tabash rear-ended the tractor-trailer, which was stopped at a red light.

The pick-up truck burst into flames and Tabash died at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
