Man Killed in Car, Road Rage Likely

Victim may have cut off suspect's vehicle

A 35-year-old driver waiting at a traffic light in Prince George's County was shot in the head and killed Sunday morning.

PG County Police say Keith Eugene Brown, of the 4200 block of Urn Street, was found suffering from a gun shot wound to his upper body.

Investigators say Brown was driving along Central Avenue with three passengers in his car when he got involved in a traffic dispute with another car, a dark-colored vehicle.  The passengers then got into a verbal fight, which resulted in the suspect firing at least one shot at Brown before fleeing the scene.

Paramedics tried to revive Brown on the scene, then brought him to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and in very critical condition.  He died soon after, police reported.

PG County Police say this could be a case of road rage, NBC4's Mike Flynn reported.Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Prince George's County Police Department's Homicide Unit at 301-772-4925.www.pgpolice.org and submit a tip online.
