The man who was shot in southeast D.C. Thursday morning has died.
Officers were called to the 1600 block of Galen Street at about 3:45 a.m. When they arrived, they found 21-year-old Stephon Marquis Perkins of Maryland lying in the street.
Perkins was transported to an area hospital in serious condition, but later died from his injuries.
No arrests have been made.
